Solarban is a product of PPG Industries. It is cooler in summer and warmer in the winter because the high insulation value.

In the winter Solarban 60 is warmer because it 39% better than standard clear insulating glass. It is cooler in the summer because it transmits about 48% less solar energy than standard clear insulating glass. Overall it reduces ultraviolet energy and still allows visible light to pass through the glass.
